I am having a problem deleting files on my computer, an
error message stating the file/program cannot be deleted
appears: it is beng used by another person or progam. I
have tried everything to take back control of these files
and it will not allow me to do so.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Seems to be a bug post SP2. Hit Start and then Run. Type CMD and start
the command prompt. Call up Task manager and kill the process
EXPLORER.EXE. Using the command prompt, cd to where the folder is. Type
erase <filename>. While you can re execute Explorer, if you have system
tray hooks like EM_Exec for a Logitech mouse, they will not show back up
in the tray. Using shutdown -r -t 0 will restart your computer.
Sometimes this will not work without booting first to safe mode.
