i was just trying to clean up "my docs". it gets all my e-mail/ surfing junk and once in a blue moon i consolidate it. in the process of trying to delete some compressed files(skins for gaming) i managed to copy them countless times. i hit control+a and right click adding files and folders as i go. when i select delete, they are copied to "my docs" again. what have i done, lol, as this is getting out of hand.

Anytime you hold control and drag the files; even slightly, they will copy. Use
control (skip the a) to select; then right-click to delete. Ctrl+A selects all, ctrl
alone will allow you select out of sequence files, then right-click to delete.

After clicking on the last file that you want selected, release the key on
the keyboard *before* moving the mouse to perform the delete. Or select the
unwanted items using the mouse and then press Delete on the keyboard.
