Greetings,
My computer is constantly rebooting itself, showing a blue screen
describing a "fatal error" and restarting automatically. I think it's
because my hard drive is full & there's not enough free space to open
the boot file. I'm running Windows XP (non-OEM version).
I can get into the Recovery Console (using a blank password) and
navigate through my directories. I want to delete some of them
(thereby making HD space available) but I cannot navigate to the ones
I want to delete--- I get the message "Access Denied." (The only
directory I can successfully open is C:\WINDOWS.)
How do I get access to my personal folders through RC so I can trash
some files? Do I need a RC password other than <blank>? I never
entered an administrator password when I installed Windows XP on my
machine.
Thanks in advance,
Steve
