Deleting & File Opening

1. How do you delete a block of text? Every time i
highlight and hit delete, a question pops up on the
screeen asking, 'Do i want to delete the block, yes or
no?'

2. How do you open mulitple files within word or
publisher, within the same window?
Currently it reopens a new window for each file.

answer yes and that will delete the block of text.

Someone will come along shortly and tell you to go into
options and tick or untick (I can never remember)
something to do with wordperfect.

Tools > options > general > uncheck the two Word Perfect options.
