deleting fax

Further to our discussion on deleting fax set up
completely. Original question on the 10th November
2003. I could not reply to your suggestion of going into
Fax Console tools configure fax second pane disable
automative reception here, as the computor would not
allow me to post a reply. The Enable send and enable
receive were not ticked. Is there any other way of
getting rid of the fax completely.
 
Why don't you uninstall it from Control Panel > Add/Remove software?

I have already done this.i.e. removed from control panel. Where do I go now?

You'd need to go to Control Panel > Add/Remove Windows Components (please
note that this is not Add/Remove Programs) and uncheck the checkbox next to
'Fax Services'. If you have already done this, please ensure that 'Fax
Services' now shows as 'unchecked' in "Add/Remove Windows Components"
