Deleting email

I have tried to send an email that is toooo big (26MB)
and I am unable to stop it from sending or delete it.

How can I stop its progress.

Do a Control-Alt-Delete and end the task. If that doesn't work, just
turn off the computer.

I have tried that, however the email is still there and
tries to send as soon as you reboot. I have also tried
turning off auto send/receive and then deleting the
offending email but it still wont delete.
