Deleting e-mail folders

I have several folders, storing e-mails of certain subjects/projects. When
finished with the project, I can delete the messages from the folder, but I
can't delete some of the folders. Some will, some won't. Any ideas?

If any message or folder can't be deleted, apply this Microsoft fix:

Although that article only mentions Outbox, it works for all mail folders.

If no improvement, try running the various repair functions in the
WMUtil program: http://www.oehelp.com/WMUtil

If still no improvement, upgrade to Windows Live Mail:

I had the same problem. I had a folder, deleted the one e-mail that it
held, and then attempted to delete the folder. The way I solved the problem
was to right-click the folder and select "properties" I then changed the name
of the folder and then right clicked again and selected "Delete." Hope this
works for you.
