What changed in the application since the time you could, until the time you
couldn't?
Also, read the help file about the rules of updating the underlying tables

It shouldn't be this hard said:
I have Access 2000 - there was a time that I could run a duplicate query
on a single table and the query would allow me to delete the duplicates. It
is now telling me that it is read-only and will not allow me to delete. Is
there an option somewhere that I need to select or deselect. I have checked
permissions and I have full admin rights.
