deleting downloads

I am trying to go in and delete downloads that my
daughter placed on computer involving music and it will
not allow me to delete off the computer. How do I do
this?

Please make an attempt to be clear about what you are asking. For instance,
are you asking about uninstalling some software or just deleting some files?
What software? What files?
