deleting desktop icons for individual users.

When I delete desktop icons that I don't use, the icons are also deleted from other users desktops. And vice versa. How can I delete unwanted icons from my desktop so that they remain on the desktops of other user accounts who do want them?

Move the icons from C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\ALL USERS\DESKTOP to the
DESKTOP folders for the single user profiles.
