How do I delete a computer name from "My Network
Places"? I changed the name of a computer and now both
names (old and new) show up in "My Network Places". I've
tried rebooting - no help. I have full Admin
privileges. This is a Workgroup, not a Domain. Any help
much appreciated. Thanks.

If it's a shortcut to a shared disk or folder in My Network Places,
right click it and click Delete.

If it's a computer name in "View workgroup computers", there's no way
to delete it. It will automatically disappear as the network updates
itself.
