I noticed that somehow a casino site had put there link
in the address bar of my browser. I can turn it off but
it is still there the next time i open my browser. How do
i get rid of it?

step No 1:
download, install and update,
Ad-Aware, Spybot s&d and, Spywareblaster,
and check to see if any thing fishy got into your system.
step No 2:
download and install
No-Ads
wait till the casino popup window comes back again
and then open the No-Ads main window from the tray icon
select the window name and add it to the black list in the target window.
i can assure you by personal experience, that this window will NEVER come
back again (as long as the No-Ads prog is on)
good luck!
Eli

First option is to run Ad-Aware scan (www.lavasoftusa.com). If the toolbar
entries are not removed still,

ToolbarCop:
http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k/utils/ToolbarCop.exe

Manual Procedure:
Start Registry Editor (Regedit.exe)
Go to the following location and check each GUID sub-key. One of which is
the malware toolbar entry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Extensions

Also, check here:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Extensions
{check the values in the right-pane to identify the malware toolbar.)

Spot the entry and delete the appropriate key (backup the registry first)
