Trying to delete a profile.
Right click on my computer - properties - user profiles -
select the one I want to delete. It deletes but gives an
error message. I then proceed to win explorer documents
and settings select the profile I want to delete and it
deletes everything except it comes up with this error
message "usrclass.dat cannot be deleted, sharing
violation" Cannot figure out why we are not able to
delete it. I tkae ownership of it but it still comes up
with the same error message. Any Ideas?

Thanks

Dave

Sharing violations usually indiactes that something has a open handle on the
file. You can try downloading handle.exe from
http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/freeware/handle.shtml to see what may be
using the file. End the process and then try to delete the profile.
