howcan i can i get rid of this
please help

Hi, Gursaran.

How long was the time between the deletion and the later search? Had the
computer been idle during much of that time? How large is your computer, in
terms of numbers of files and their contents?

The Indexing service tries to stay out of our way, so it works only in the
background and pauses when we are using the computer. Even when the machine
is apparently idle, other processes may be going on. So give it time to
update the Index. Leaving your computer on and idle overnight should be
plenty of time; just a leisurely dinner might be enough.

If this doesn't do it, you might need to check your settings in Control
Panel | Indexing Options.

hi
thanks for your concern but how do it from the control panel indexing
option,i mean what do i do from there.i have a lot of files in my e: drive
where i do that search please help
thanks you again

Gursaran

Open Control Panel/Indexing Options. Click the Advanced Tab. Click the
Rebuild Button and then click OK. This will cause the search index to be
rebuilt from scratch.

If you are concerned about the files downloaded from Limewire being included
in the search index, you can exclude those files from the index. Click the
Modify Button. Click Show All Locations.

In the Change selected locations section, expand the drive where the folders
are located that you use to download the Limewire files and remove the check
mark from those folders.

Before you retire for the night, quit all running programs and leave the
computer on overnight. The new index should be built by morning.
