Is it okay to delet upgrade files and security patch files after the OS
(XP) has been updated and I am satisfied with the results. I am satisfied
with how the OS works. Thanks, Ray Holt

Yes. You can safely delete the $NTUNINSTALL* folders from the WINDOWS
folder. Also delete the KB*.LOG files that correspond to the folders
(same number in name).
Then you can delete the entries in the Control Panel > Add and remove
Programns: double-click an entry and Windows will ask you whether to
delete it, choose Yes.
