Two post better than one?

I accidently deleted a listed computer on our server. Obviously now the
user can't log in. Missing domain and then some is the error message. Is
there a way to retrieve the computer name I deleted. Can't log in as admin
on the users because no one bothered to write down the password meaning now I
can't log in to users to re establish the computer name on the server via
user. ?

Yes, who ever set up the workstations here set an admin password for local.
It is not the same as the Server. Without the Admin password I won't be able
to log into the users station and reset / or re establish the connection to
the server. And because the station is on a domain logging in as user or
admin can't be done for the server no longer recognizes the users rights.
Which doesn't make since if I am logging in to the server via station as
admin. (Missing Domain).

No. They are worse. It causes confusion. It causes people to reply to
different copies of the same post without knowing about the others exist
(like I did) and they can get really annoyed about that.

That is a good thing. You don't want them the same. You also don't really
want it the same as any of the other local Admins on the other
workstations,..although that might not be considered quite as bad. Think
about it,..someone boots up you innocent workstation with an NTFSDOS
bootdisk. Copies the "Sam_" file to a disk and takes it home,...they run
"L0phtCrack" on it an get all the local passwords on the machine, if it used
the same admin password as the "Server" they now have your Domain
Adminitrator credentials and you are really screwed if you don't know this
happened.

I reply to the "other " post with the means to gain back Administrator
access on the workstation. Do not post the same question under multiple
subjects,...it makes people really iritated.

Yes Philip Great thanks. One post not multiple it really really annoyes
Philip.

Thank you very much Adrien. I did get that software and it worked great. I
did get into the system but ran into another problem. Without annoying
Philip I posted a newer seperate question elsewhere but wanted to say thank
