Deleted pictures!

I am using a USB cable to put my pictures on the computer. i dragged them all
into the pictures folder and then deleted them from the USB connection
screen. this also deleted them from my camera..
now i cann't find them anywhere and it seems they are saved to the folder i
dragged them to, not in the trash, not anywhere!
is there some way i can restore my computer to get them back??

I don't quite understand what you are saying. You say you dragged them all
into the Pictures folder but then you say you deleted them from the USB
connection screen. If you dragged them from the screen and dropped them into
the Pictures folder how is it that they were still on the screen? I think you
may have dragged them and failed to drop them, which means they were never
placed into your Pictures folder. You also state that "I cannot find them
anywhere and it seems they are saved to the folder I dragged them to". They
are either in the Pictures folder or they are not. Which one is it?

I think what has happened is that you did not successfully drag and drop
them. In this case, when you deleted them from the screen you deleted them in
their entirety. If this is the case you are out of luck. The pictures are
gone forever.

Did you shut down your camera software before removing the USB cord? If you
do not shut down the software before removing the USB cord you can lose all
data that you have transferred and all data in the camera.
