Deleted Photo's

I love Thanks to take lots of Photo's, see them in Pictures, edit them, and
delete most of them after picking the best.
My Question is, when deleted, do they in fact remain on hard drive, and use
up a lot of my memory?

Yes, the files are still on your hard drive
until they are overwritten by other files.

No, memory is not used to store deleted
files.
