deleted my personal folder

I am running Outlook 07. I had a problem deleting e-mails from the delted
items box so I followed some instructions to set up another personal folder
thru the accounts sections. Did that & had everything in the folder so I
closed out my original personal folder. In doing so I no longer have any
contacts or calendar items. Am I out of luck in trying to recover those
items. I do have my inbox & all those items. Please help!

Assuming you didn't physically delete the file in Windows Explorer, just do
File-Open-Outlook Data File in Outlook and reconnect it...
 
I have since located & restored the file. Thanks! Since I have gone back to
the original .pst I am now back to not being able to delete. Is there a way
for me to set another .pst folder & have it use my original calendar &
contacts. The new one that I had set up gave me a new calendar & contacts.

Not being able to delete usually indicates a corrupt mail profile. Try
creating a new one (Control Panel-Mail-Show Profiles-Add) and see if that
cures the problem.
