Deleted Messages Folder

I am unable to delete any messages from my Deleted Items folder. I get an
error message that says - "An Unknown Error has Occurred."

Under the Tools menu, I have set the default to empty the Deleted Items
Folder when I exit. That hasn't worked either.

Use this Microsoft fix:

"Messages may be stuck in the Outbox when you use Windows Mail on a
computer that is running Windows Vista"

Although Outbox is the only folder mentioned, it will remove stuck
messages from all folders.
