Deleted meetings

We are using exchange 2003, cached mode and Outlook 2003. I have one user
(maybe more) that invites users to a meeting, but the meetings have been
mysteriously disappearing. It turns out that when an acceptance email comes
back to him from an attendee and he deletes that email, it deletes the
meeting from the calendar. Is this correct behavior? Is there a way to
change it?
 
What should I do? It stays in his inbox and when he deletes it, it deletes
his appointment/meeting.
 
I'm seeing the same behaivior for one of my users. Is there a solution to
this issue? It is staring to cause some major headaches.
 
Well... if we knew more about the problem, we might be able to offer better
answers... What is the behavior you're seeing? Are blackberries or pda's in
being used?
