Deleted lists still appearing

I've set up a couple of folders with contact details in and have deleted the folders. However when I create a new mail item and want to insert a contacts folder the old ones are still appearing. Anybody else suffered this

Help appreaciate

Appearing where and in what version of Outlook? We have nothing to go on
here.
