Deleted Items : On clicking Empty Deleted Items...nothing happens

Dear All,

When I click Empty Deleted Items in Windows Mail, Nothing happens rather it
stops displaying the message bodies of the mails I deleted from my Inbox or
junk folder. It shows the following message :
----------------------------------------------------------
Message could not be displayed
Windows Mail encountered an unexpected problem while displaying this
message. Check your computer for low memory or low disk space and try again.

"Messages may be stuck in the Outbox when you use Windows Mail on a computer
that is running Windows Vista"

It works for all folders, not just the Outbox.
