deleted folders remain visible in the left folder pan

on win2000 SP4 + rollup1 ,IE6
when i del a folder its icon remains visible in the folder
left pan but lighter as if it was hidden
and clicking on it causes
"....is inaccessible the folder has been moved or
removed"
it will only go away if i close & open explorer

another volunteer said that too on another forum
it doesn't happen regularly anyway so i ll jsut pretend i ve nenevr seen it
