Deleted files

Hello All,

I am trying to find out if it is possible to give access to a file on the
server but also have restrictions that will not allow the user to delete the
file, and if so how is this done? Also, can event viewer see who deleted the
file? Any help you folks can give is greatly appreciated.

Just give them read access, if that's all that they need. Or, if they need
to modify but not delete (or something similar), see the Advanced tab in
your permissions settings window.

If you want to know who's doing what, look up auditing in the help tool.
