does anyone know how to restore a deleted file that no
longer resides in the bin?.....i haven't saved anything
since the file was deleted.
 
Tou may want to use a third-party file restoration utility. Try this:

No backup of the file anywhere? You may have some luck retrieving the file
using undelete software. Below are links to several programs of this type.
I've never tried any of them but have collected these links from posts
