| A user was deleted and the associated files were also
| deleted. Is there anyway to recover the files?
Do an authoritative restore of of the user in AD from the most current
backup of the System State before the deletion -- and mark the user
object as authorative.
Using the backup utility, you first need to do a
nonauthoritative restore of System State onto the selected
domain controller. Use NTDSUTIL to mark the user object. This
increases the update sequence number past the update sequence number
of the transaction that deleted the user in the first place. And
prevents the user object from being deleted as old data. Do not
restart the server until this is done.
