oops!

I have on my system an encryption program that starts with
the titles "crytp..."

I needed to uninstall it, but it didn't go well.

I searched for any dlls that started with "crypt"
believeing them to be part of that program. Most wouldn't
regsvr32 unregister or when I did I got a message that
only a portion had been unregistered.

The ones that I unregistered, I deleted.

Now, I've learned that the "crypto..." dlls are part of
windows, e.g. Cryptoshell.dll. --it's gone.

Any ideas on how to repair this or reload
the "crypt...dll" files, and get them in the right folders?

Thanks

You could try running System File Checker - sfc/ scannow [be sure to have
instll cdrom handy]. otherwise try reinstalling your Service Pack or doing
an upgrade install that would require you to reinstall service pack first
anyway and all critial updates of which I recommend doing no more than five
at a time. See links below for more info.--- Steve
