I use Office Outlook 2003 and I've just deleted my Microsoft Exchange Server
settings without realising that it would take with it all my emails and
address book - I naively thought everything would stay the same but I just
wouldn't pick up mail from that account any more. I can't believe how easy
it was to do - no warnings about whether I was sure I wanted to do it. I can
do without the emails (which I can access on the server as I need them) but
want to replace the address book within Outlook. I've been told that I will
need some ost to pst conversion software but can't find this for less than
$200 (Kernel Ost) so far, so wondered if there was another way. The
irritating thing is that the contacts appear as predictive text when I type
into the address bar of an email, but if I click on the address book it says
it says 'the contacts folder associated with this address book could not be
opened'. Meanwhile a day of my life has gone by... Thanks for your time.
