deleted a meeting prior to canceling

I have an 8:30 meeting on ¾ that I am trying to cancel, but it somehow
disappeared from my Outlook Calendar in the process. I know it’s not
cancelled because attendees still have it on their calendar. How do I get it
back on my calendar so I can delete it?
 
Did you look in your deleted items folder?

Hi Milly, thanks for the answer. I neglected to state a couple things.
yes, I looked in the deleted items folder.
I also attempted to recover deleted items.

Is there a way to cancel a meeting if the originator has deleted from there
calendar?
 
No, the users will have to remove the meeting on their calendar manually.
