I have Windows XP Pro - and it has a lot of fonts which I don't want. The
font names start with the character "@." Does anyone know how to uninstall
them - and is there any downside in doing so? Thanks.........

You could move the font files from the WINDOWS\FONTS folder to a new
folder and wait and see if this causes any problems.

Jamoke,

My C:\WINDOWS\Fonts folder contains approximately 65 font files (*.FON and *.TTF).

None of the font names start with the character "@."

To uninstal those fonts, I suggest you...

- Create a folder named "AT-Fonts", but NOT as a sub-folder of C:\WINDOWS\Fonts.

- Open the C:\WINDOWS\Fonts folder.

- On the View-menu, select | Details |

- Highlight all of the font files that you wish to uninstal.

- Right-click-drag the highlighted files to the "AT-Fonts" folder.

- Release the mouse button, and choose | Move Here |.

Thanks........
