Windows Media Player cannot be uninstalled/removed.
If you are not using it - it is of no impact to you.
Only if you use it and also set the configuration options to allow you to
send data on usage etc back to Microsoft will it actually do anything that
may impact your privacy.
If you are using Media Player Series 9 it displays a full screen all about
this and then asks you to configure the appropriate options for you.

YOU CANT

Its one of those Microsoft, FORCE you to have software things.

You can't uninstall it the normal way, but you prob could if you
deleted all the registry entrys, and then the files in the dirs.

Or i could be WRONG.
