Just done a clean install of build 5536 on the drive Beta 2 was on. Is it
safe to delete the 'windows.old' folder once i've finished with it?

If you don't need any documents or information from your previous
installation is totally safe to delete windows.old folder. Just what a
couple of day, maybe you remember that you did not backup some files, and
then you can delete it.

Regards,
Angel.

Now available in 5536, you can use the Disk Cleanup utility to delete
Windows.old. Prior to this feature, you probably had to wrestle with file
permissions, and the delete took a *long* time. This new feature is much
quicker.

Start->c-l-e-a-n, Press Enter
Select "Files from all users on this computer" (requires elevation)
(wait while it scans for things to clean up)
Make sure "Previous Windows installation(s)" is checked
Click OK and confirm at the "safety" prompt.
