Is there a way to programatically delete the code located
in the Outlook 2002 Script editor upon sending?

I have a code in my email template that allows me to
choose a recipient, and it automacally fils in the
reciepents email address.

But I want to get rid of the code when I send the email?

Any Ideas. I ran into a bunch of read only alerts when I
tried.

No, that's not possible. Where is the form published? Are you sending to Internet recipients?

Thank You, I appreciate your help in this.

The template is posted to a network drive so others can
use the template. I am unable to post the form to a
public folder. Even though the form is sent to other
people outside of my email system, so a public folder
would not even work.

Could I set up the code to be ignored by other after
sending it?

Make sure that the "send form definition with item" box on the form is not checked. If it is, uncheck and republish. This will ensure that the code does not travel with the item.
