Some keys are not displayed in the win2000 registry, like
TcpWindowSize, SackOpts, etc. I need to edit the value of
them, and then I added TcpWinbdowSize in the
\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\system\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip
\Parameters.

After I finished my tests, I need to change back to the
default value. Can I just delete the new value I created
in the Regedit and the windows will pick up the default
value(16K) for TcpWindowSize?

Any help is highly appreciated!
Judy

Yes. If a value is specified then it overrides the default. Simply deleting
that value will cause the system to use the default again.

Hi, Richard,

Thank you for your help. Another question, after I add the
new value like TcpWindowSize, do I need to reboot my
laptop in order for the change to take effect?

Thanks again
