I have Windows 2000, Version 5.0, Build 2195: Service Pack 4. In my
Windows folder I have approximately 30 folders named similar to this:
$NtUninstallKB820888$. I think I get a new one every time I use
Windows update. Are these folders safe to delete? How about deleting
the oldest ones only? As you can tell, I don't know much about computers.

Hello Paul,

Any of this folders will be created if you update your ws with the option
to uninstall patches. So if you delete them you CAN NOT uninstall patches
that maybe cause some problems. Here are the old files from before the patching
be stored.
On my ws i sometimes delete them when i know everything is running fine and
i need more space on the drive. When you really want to be sure, save all
important data, create an image of the ws delete the folders and see if everything
is fine. Otherwise you can image it back.

Best regards
