Delete title on clip

How do I delete a "title on the selected clip?"

Select the text clip and press the Delete key.

Thanks gentlemen,
I can do what you suggest when the text clip is between two video clips;
but when the text is on top of the video clip, "title on the selected clip,"
I am unable to select the text clip either in timeline or storyboard.
What am I missing here?

You probably need to zoom into the timeline a good bit so you see the clip
on the Title Overlay track.
