Delete the domain

Hi,
Recently, i change my workgroup to a domian, and I find the the client
just keep on sending and receiving packet from the server, which make the
computer running very slow. How can I change from a domain back to the
workgroup, (the option to change back the workgroup was grey out)? And this
computer is the domain controller, do I need to delete the active directory
as well? Thx.

You can't "change" to a workgroup but you can demote the server by running
dcpromo again. This will wipe out AD as well.
