delete standard TCP port - access denied

hey,

i can no longer print to one of my network printers (Konica copy machine
also used as printer).
I cannot even get a test page through. When i try to edit the standard
tcp-ip port settings i get "an error occured during port configuration,
access denied". Same sort of error when trying to delete this port... access
denied.
I tried everything: delete the drivers
(%systemroot%\system32\spool\drivers\...), deleted every entry in the
registry for Konica, resetting print spooler service, safe mode, delete,
install via printer wizard, via "connect to printer" in explorer, through the
usal login script, rebooting the print server, changing the ip op the
printer... nothing seems to work. Access denied!

has anyone got an idea on how to get rid of this damn port (manually)? other
people can still print to this printer and my other printers are working fine.

thanx already, goin' nuts here!
Steven.

When you say other people, are you referring to other users on other PC's or
other users on the same PC?
Do you have Norton active?

i mean other people on the network...

i have symantec antivirus corporate edition 9 running. (don't see why that
should be a problem, should it?)
