I would like to know where to delete the files so they
will no longer be present in the address dropdown menu in
the address bar.

Thanks in advance,

Kacy

To do so permanently, download tweak ui. Check your
Control Panel first ( it will be listed in there if you
already have it). The Paranoia and IE tabs in Tweak UI
are nice for multiple user systems. For history, on
Paranoia tab, check "Clear Internet Explorer history at
logon" and on IE tab "Clear document, run, typed-URL
history on exit". These instructions are for Windows 98,
but they should give an idea of what to look for if XP
version is different. Look at site below for all info and
downloads for all operating systems.

Also, you can uncheck "Use inline Auto-Complete for web
addresses" in Advanced tab of Internet Explorer's
Tools/Internet Options. That should get rid of
suggestions showing up when you type in a URL, but it
might not. If need be, you can also uncheck the Auto
Complete for Windows Explorer while in Advanced tab.
