Hi,
Clearing the History from IE> Tools> Internet Options> General should
delete URLs in the regular autocomplete list.

An individual entry can be cleared by selecting it (just put the pointer on
it) and hitting the Delete key.

URLs that drop down when you click the arrow on the right side of the
Address Bar, may not clear with the rest of the History. They can be safely,
easily cleared with one of these free programs/scripts:
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm
and download "DelTypedURL." This INF file will remove all entries.

These two freeware programs will remove some or all entries:
IE Address Bar Editor: http://www.freesoft.fsnet.co.uk/ieedit01.htm
EditURLs: http://www.aandrc.com/editurls/index.htm

Autocomplete can be turned off from Internet Options> Content> Autocomplete.

Hope this helps,
Don

Tip: If you type URLs in via File> Open, instead of the address bar, they
aren't saved in the TypedURLs key and you can keep a select few URLs in the
drop-down list.
