I have a friend from work, that asked me if there was a program where
he could select some web sites that he had visit and delete them.
(he don't want the girlfriend to see what sites he visits, they use
the same computer)
He don't want to delete all the site listings in the IE history.

Can someone help me with that ?

/CoMa - Don't use IE and my wife has her own computer :-)

Simply click on IE's History button, and when the list opens, pick the URLs
that you want to remove and right-click them then choose "delete". Simple,
quick and painless. :)

Just right click any url in the IE history
list and select delete. TweakUI will erase
the addressbar history.

Might tell him to get a program to clear his msie cache and its index.dat,
as well.

Thought not to mention, if she's savvy enough, he'll still leave traces
that'll get him into trouble...

This would be a situation where I would advise that this person not use
IE. But it's usually not worth the trouble to try to get folks to change
such things... I wasn't even able to get my own mother to quit AOL until
after the most prolonged period of nagging (something like a year), and
when she finally did....she switched to MSN.
