I have all my programs and updates in XP home which is mine legally. On the other side of a double boot there is XP pro that is not mine legally and I want to delete that partition without hurting my programs in XP Home - I hope this is possible
My xp Home is an upgrade from Win 98 (I think he might have done something else) but I no longer have that disk - I think the guy that did this to my computer took it with him. A double boot was not what I asked for I wanted to get rid of XP pro and load my home but he left me with double boot

Any help for me? Thank you.

1. Get the Home Edition CD. You will need it if something goes wrong
with your Windows installation.
2. Remove Windows XP Professional from the BOOT.INI file and restart
Windows. Windows XP Home should boot automatically now. Now manually
delete the files that belong to the Professional Edition from the HDD.
