Hi,
How do I set up permissons on a file/folder on the network
so that only certain people can delete the file or folder
unless they have a password?
Thanks,
Deirdre.

You can not do that with a password. W2K uses ntfs and share permissions that apply
to users or groups. Share permissions apply only to network access. A user must have
full or modify permissions in order to delete a file. --- Steve
