delete outlook mailbox folder

when I try to delete a mailbox folder iin 2007 I get a message "cannot remove
the items the folder is full" the recommended fix is to change permissions
but I don't know how. these folders were created in an earlier version of
Outlook and imported when I upgraded to 2007 moved
