I recently purchased a used computor. I reinstaled windows xp, but it ended up in partition d. I have added some files and programs to the 2nd OS on drive d. I would realy like to clear drive c and move the OS, files and programs from d partition to c drive

When you installed your copy of windows XP you should have removed the
previous version first, which can be done as part of the installation when
you boot from the XP CD. If you want to do it that way then boot from the CD
and run the install again but select to delete all partitions first then
create a new clean one. Just be aware you will lose all current data.
