Delete or Not??..

hang_psyco

i have download games from windowsXp and save in my
document.but at the sametimes have another file created
like:
(audio,data,campaign,eula,geometry,goodies,help,maps,learn
scenario,teraform and so many)in file document..can i
delete all the unknown file.now i'm just delete to
the 'recycle bin' not from my comp.

Do you mean downloaded as in downloaded from the internet, or downloaded as
in installed from the game disc? The latter is NOT downloading, but
installing...

Anyway, these look like folders & files game installation programs create.
Pretty much all games use 100's of extra files where their graphics & audio
data is held, plus level maps, save games and all sorts of things. If you
delete them, the game will cease to work. What you SHOULD do instead if you
no longer want the game installed is to use the games own Uninstall option,
which should remove these folders & files..

BTW: It's unusual for these to reside in your Documents folder... The normal
path for games is usually Program Files\<game name> or something similar...

something..maybe i installed the game..but not from game
disc..but from the 'download center'games at
windowsXp.but my comp disconnected internet.can u explain?

I'm not familiar with this "download center" for games you mention. Can you
provide the URL so I can take a look? It's not advisable for me to give
advice until I've at least seen where you got the game from... Also, what
game is it?
