Delete old mails in Inbox

Hallo everybody,

i have a little need for a program doing the following: Log on to a mailbox,
select the inbox of the mailbox, delete all mails from the inbox older than 1
day. Optionally it deletes them permanently.

I am little bit new to this whole outlook programming stuff, but i know
little vba and vbs. My biggest problems are, hoe can i access a mailbox and
it's Inbox. And how can i access all mailitems in it and delete them. If i
can get a few lines of code with little comment i would be very thankfull.
