Can anyone tell me if you can manually delete individual
mail items in Outlook without it going to the Deleted
Items folder? I'm thinking that a special key combination
should do the trick. This is a feature in many other
client email applications but haven't figured out how to
do this in Outlook (from Office XP Pro).

Thanks for your help.

Try Shift+Delete. That works in windows, but I'm not sure if it works in
outlook.

Hey, that works in Outlook, too! Although, you still have
to give it a second <enter> keystroke to confirm the
permanent deletion.

Good enough for me. Thanks for your help.
