delete levels in content placeholder in PP 07

I need to delete the first two levels in slide master, how do I do that?
Whenever I delete them in Slide Master these levels appear again in normal
view.

I see.
Guess it would have to be "manually" made.
I experience also another inconsistency with the slide master which relates
to the title holder. In the slide master I have set up the needed size and
position of the title but whenever I insert a title it shift to the top of
the slide. So to get it back to its place I need to go to layout and again
set the title back to its required place. Any ideas?

I don't think you can. You could, though, format the first level bullet on
the master so it *looks* like a third level bullet and is positioned in that
spot (move the indent markers on the ruler).

When you changed the placement of the title placeholder on the slide master,
did it adjust on the individual slide layout (the smaller thumbnails below
the master) also? It sounds to me as if one of the slide layouts you're
using doesn't have the title placeholder in the correct position, so you may
need to re-position it on that layout.

Or maybe not. Can you give me step-by-step instructions for what you're
doing so I can try to reproduce the behavior here? Like, you went into slide
master view and positioned the title placeholder on the slide master --
where? And then you selected the title slide layout and re-positioned that
title placeholder.

And, for example, could you clarify "whenever I insert a title it shift to
the top of the slide." How are you inserting a title? Or did you mean, when
you insert a title slide -- or maybe when you insert a title and content
slide? Or something else?

1. In Slide Master (layout title and content) the title placeholder is two
lines box, namely height 1.83 cm and 25.8 width. Position: 0.8 cm
horizontally and 1.1 cm vertically. (Using Arial 24 bold)
2. When this layout is applied in the normal view it is correct
3. When action title is single line, it appears on the top of the title
placeholder (height changes to 0.91 cm instead of the defined setting in the
slide master) -Ideally, it should be on bottom and expand upwards when
exceeds one line.

* in the slide master the title placeholder is adjusted on all slides.

Set the anchor point on the title placeholder on the slide master or slide
layouts, then. You want it to be anchored at the bottom, it seems.

Do do so, select the placeholder, go to Drawing Tools Format, click the
dialog launcher on WordArt Styles (the little square on the lower right
corner of that group) or use Text Effects | 3D Rotation | More 3D Rotation
Options to open the Format Text Effects dialog. Click Textbox on the left of
that dialog. Then choose Vertical Alignment, Bottom.

Sure, email me a couple of slides and a reminder of the PPT version and
problem. You can just copy this message body into the email if you wish.
